Lisa "Pipsissewa" Bedner R.N., R.H. (AHG), personally directs all workshops and classes. Ms. Bedner is a practicing Medical Herbalist and Medicine Woman for the Teehahnahmah Nation. Her teachings include Native American healing traditions and spiritual practices.

We hold workshops informally in a natural outdoor setting. We sit at the edge of the woods, surrounded by the bounty of Mother Earth. We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes for short hikes. We provide coffee, teas, cold drinks, and lunch; as well as some printed materials relevant to the courses, but we suggest that you bring pen and paper with you for additional notes. We don't mind if you use Audio tape recorders and/or still cameras; but, prearrange video feeds or recordings.

LOCATION

LISA’S GREENHOUSE is located in Scenic Middle Tennessee, traditional home of the Cherokee, Lenape, and Teehahnahmah Nations. The site covers 23 acres, including display gardens, greenhouses, herb production, and natural woods.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Cookeville, Tennessee is 15 miles from the workshop location and has most major motel and restaurant chains for your convenience.  You may reserve primitive camping on the grounds of Lisa's Greenhouse & Gardens.  We provide drinking water, firewood, and portable toilets.  We do not provide electrical access.  You must bring all of your own gear, food, supplies, etc.

FEES

Non-refundable deposit: $50 for all full day and two day workshops.  Must be post-marked at least two weeks before the date of a workshop.

INTRODUCTION TO HERBAL MEDICINE: $350
Includes two days of classes, lunch, and coffee or cold drinks both days.

ADVANCED NATIVE AMERICAN HEALING: $185
Includes one day of classes, lunch, and coffee or cold drinks both days.

HERBAL MEDICINE FOR WOMEN: $185
Includes one day of classes, lunch , and coffee or cold drinks.

PROFESSIONAL HEALERS WORKSHOP: $400
Includes two days of classes, lunch, and coffee or cold drinks both days.

Camping fee: $10 per person, per night. Sorry, no discount for camping fee.

We offer a group registration discounts.

Reservations are required for all workshops as class size is limited to 12 seats per workshop, so register early and often.
